Who is behind the screen?
My name is Sanne Schouwenburg. I was born in pretty much the only country under sea level, where you will find no mountains to fly, The Netherlands. In the paragliding world Im more often known as Tuli (referring to the many Tulips this low lying country grows).
The mission
For a while it‘s been my mission to document the many great destinations (outside of my silly country) to travel and explore with a paraglider. During my travels I came across plenty of maps with (sometimes hundreds of) take-offs. However as a traveler, with time restrictions, you just really need a few options, where you can base yourself, and where there is some paragliding infrastructure so you can find some local pilots, places to stay, to eat and to discover beyond flying. I will do my utter best to provide you will all this info, so you can make the most out of your paragliding adventure, and fly safer with some local Meteo knowledge.
